The artist Martha Rosler and the urbanist and activist Miguel Robles-Durán are revealing the conflicted promises of urban regeneration projects in Europe in a visual exposé. It also looks at forms of public-private partnership and the use of public funding to maximize profits. Starting out from developments at the HafenCity, a poster campaign has been developed. In connection with other European cities, it raises questions about broken promises in current urban development and hence about the reasons for global urban resistance.
