In different film genres the approach to the colonial heritage in Germany and Europe will be discussed, as well as current debates about decolonial economies and democracies. HafenCity imagined as “Gate to the World” and prestige district for international living with maritime flair and view over the Upper Harbour forms the backdrop for the international program.
